Back in 1995, my friends and I bought tickets to our first concert, Roxette. We arrived early in the morning to secure front row spots, surviving on junk food until the gates opened at night. We ended up right in front of the stage, and the concert was incredible. As a huge fan, I was thrilled. I got a ride home from a friend’s boyfriend and, once home, put on my headphones to listen to the greatest hits album on my new CD player. It gave me goosebumps to realize that just hours before, I had heard those same songs performed live right in front of me. That night ignited my lifelong addiction to concerts.

Em 1995, meus amigos e eu compramos ingressos para o nosso primeiro show: Roxette.
Chegamos bem cedo, ainda de manhã, para garantir um lugar na grade, sobrevivendo à base de besteiras até os portões abrirem à noite. Conseguimos ficar bem na frente do palco, e o show foi incrível. Como grande fã, fiquei em êxtase.

Na volta, peguei carona com o namorado de uma amiga e, quando cheguei em casa, coloquei os fones para ouvir o álbum de maiores sucessos no meu novo CD player. Arrepiei ao perceber que, poucas horas antes, tinha escutado aquelas mesmas músicas ao vivo, bem na minha frente.

Aquela noite despertou meu vício por shows — que dura até hoje.
