Finsbury Park, London. Pulp back on stage, and my friends and I were ready for the mission. We arrived early and found the perfect spot near the stage—but with one catch: if it got too crowded, access would be closed off, and leaving meant watching everything from behind a barrier.

To avoid any issues, we planned a strategic bathroom break before the show and agreed: no beer. I bought a small bottle of water for each of us—our official supply for the night.

With each song, we took careful, rationed sips, making sure we’d make it to the end without any trouble—and it paid off. An unforgettable show.
